I came across this, while searching for ginger lime concentrate recipe. Used the proportion for ginger, lime juice, sugar and water to make the concentrate (except that I ground the ginger with the water and did NOT boil the lime juice but added it at the end) AWESOME with chilled soda. The ground ginger came up to barely a table spoon of pulp while straining. Would surely make again.

Thank you for posting this recipe. Since the factory that manufacture the drug store product burnt down last year, it has been hard getting my husband his hot, lemony drink when he has a cold. The ingredients are easily obtained at the grocery store for a fairly easy and quick way to have a homemade drink. I found that straining the solids out at the end gave me a drink free of floating ingredients. I also carefully read that only a couple of tablespoons of the "mix" is necessary; then top up with hot water. Thanks again.

I am going to get the ingredients I don't already have for this one. I will add stars later, but I just wanted to comment now for the reviewer that takes blood pressure medication. My Dad takes medication also and was warned by his physician to avoid grapefruit. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist about it, I don't know how grapefruit and blood pressure medicine react with each other.
