  1. Wonderful recipe! I tend to double or triple the green beans and just drain and dump in a 9" x 13" pan sprinkle with the bacon and pour the sauce over the beans and bacon. Always devoured!

  3. This is a great recipe! I have started to make double, even triple, batches in the crock-pot. I just drain the green beans and cover with chopped bacon then drizzle the butter/sugar/garlic on top. It divine and so easy! Thanks!

  4. These are the best!!! I made this and took to work, everyone raved and asked for the recipe. I did add a little bit of soy sauce to the brown sugar mixture and we love it.

  5. This was a hit!! I made this the day before Thanksgiving-I cooked the bacon about 10-12 mintues in the oven then blanched fresh green beans. Costco or Sam's carries fresh pre-washed beans in their produce section. I made about 30 bundles, I also added some Worstishire to the sauce. Everyone thought they tasted just like my Grandmother's !! It has already been requested for Christmas diner! Thanks for the recipe!!

  1. I have made this recipe many times. The only difference is that I use garlic powder instead of minced garlic. This is wonderful!!! Very, very good!
