"use this to make a nice relaxing martini. You can use different flower like rose, carnation, and mint. If you are using dried be sure to use a third of the amount!"

Yields:: 4 cups

ingredients

4 cups vodka
1 cup sugar
1 -2 cup fresh lavender flowers

directions

Place lightly bruised petals in a jar with vodka and steep for two days.
Then, add sugar and steep for two weeks, shaking vigorously once or twice a day to let sugar dissolve.
Strain and filter into clean decanter. Then freeze to serve icy cold!
