No Cook Scotcheroos - Peanut Butter Rice Crispy Treats

"There are 2 other recipes sort of like this one on zaar - but this one is quick - and done in the microwave - so tasty! Every single time I make these I am asked for the recipe...I use an all natural, organic peanut butter and they come out AWESOME! **Edited to ADD: I have been using honey in place of corn syrup and dark chocolate chips in place of milk chocolate - and they are still super yummy!!**"

  1. I LOVE this recipe! I only use the peanut butter, with no chips though. It comes out perfect every time and I always get asked for the recipe!

  2. I love this recipe!! It's so easy and taste very good. I used chunky peanut butter and added some of both chips to the mixture. It was so quick. Thanks.

  3. These turned out pretty good although I'm fairly certain that I prefer the marshmallow-based variety of rice crispy treats. I think that these had a more brittle sort of chewiness. All the same, dessert is dessert and people did comment that they really liked these No Cook Scotcharoos.

  4. These are the quickest and very good tasting pb rice krispy treats to make I have experienced yet. I had my batch made in under 10 min. I also added some butterscotch chips to my rice for added flavor. Excellent!

  5. these were one of the easiest things i have ever made... ever. i made a batch and we nearly ate it all so i had to take some to a function last moment and whipped another batch up in no time! i just put them in the fridge to speed up the cooling of the top so i could cut them. i also added a few ch/butterscotch chips in the body of the treat to make it a little richer and loved it! the biggest problem with these are they are extreemely addicting i had a very hard time stopping eating them. these are the perfect thing to take to a potluck or anything last minute. very good. loved them. try chunky peanut butter for added texture.mmm
