  1. thank you so very much for this recipe. o.k., i just have one thing to say, this frosting was simply superb. very easy and quick to make. and tasty too. now why would some people say it was to sweet.not true at all. it was perfect for us. the second time i made it, i did add 1 more tbsp of milk to thin it out...made like a glaze. yum!

  3. This was an excellent frosting. I only used 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar and added 1/2 cup of cream cheese and put in fridge to chill for 2 hours. It was delicious for my 24 chocolate cupcakes!

  4. Amazing!! I had all the ingredients here at home and it was quick and easy! To the people who didn't like it and said it was too thick, try adding a little more milk and mixing more!

Tweaks

  1. i added about 3 tablespoons of peanut butter and a little more vanilla and it is amazing

  2. 1 tablespoon whipped cream cheese

  3. I used 2 cups of powdered sugar, blended in 1/8 tsp of cream of tartar, very small amount of milk (may have been less than 1tsp)1 TBS lemon juice, and 4 TBS margarine blended on medium spead until peaks formed with a creamy texture! Yummy! cookies are ready for school tomorrow. ( The lemon juice did not cause the powdered sugar to liquify. Maybe because of the acid?)

  4. I made this frosting I was a bit apprehensive about it at first but my kids loved it ! My son never likes frosting he always takes it off , but he actually enjoyed this one so much he licked it off the cupcake wrapper lol. I added an extra 1/2 cup of powdered sugar to make it a bit thicker And we also added rainbow sprinkles to it to make go with the confetti cupcakes.
