I made 1/2 batch with 1 C epsom salts and 1 C kosher salt. Also used 2 T coconut oil and 2 T glycerin. I've tried the dried lavender b4, but it's a real mess in the tub. For fragrance, I used a lavender/peppermint/rosemary oil mix with a purple coloring. It turned out beautiful! Giving as a gift to my grandma for her b-day.

to chef prissy: glycerin can be found in the first aid section of drug or grocery stores. also sometimes by the baking supplies as it's occasionally used as a sweetener. lavender can often be found in bigger health food stores. it's also very easy to grow yourself and dry the flowers. it can live almost anywhere. a Chinese herbal supplier would also have it

I have made up someting quite similar, but I do use different essential oils. All the ingredients will help heal and soften the skin and if you use it before bed, lavender is excellent for a peaceful asleep. The only caution I would throw out would be the food colouring. I have super sensitive skin, so this would be a "red flag" for me...so use caution to who you would give it to
