  • Add blue cheese to pan, season to taste with pepper, reduce heat to low-medium then cook, stirring occasionally, for 2-3min or until cheese has melted (don't worry if mixture isn't completely smooth).
  • Spread the gnocchi over the base of a large baking dish, scatter with prosciutto pieces then pour over the blue cheese sauce. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and parmesan.
  • Bake in 180oC oven for 15-20min or until sauce is bubbling and crumbs are golden.

  1. This was wonderful! Since the measurements are somewhat unclear, I'll let you know what I did. 1lb gnocchi, half pint of cream, about 10oz blue cheese, 1/4lb of prosciutto and a sprinkle of panko and parmesan. It came out really yummy with these measurements. DH suggests next time we add mushrooms to make it even better. Thanks for the fantastic recipe tinaki99!!!!

  2. This was really good, but next time I would cut back on the amount of breadcrumbs. In my opinion they almost ruined a perfect dish.

  3. i whipped this up for me and my vegetarian roommates (only put prosciutto on my half) ... none of us could keep our fingers out of the sauce. it's amazing! we added some sauteed spinach and garlic. other than that, no changes! thanks for a quick and easy dinner!!

I'm a Greek-Australian living in Melbourne at the moment with my husband and three kids (boy 9, girl 6, boy 2); my parents and brother also live nearby and are my unconditional supporters/ helpers. I predominantly cook Greek at home, and I get lots of inspiration from other European cuisines. I also cook Asian dishes, and, lately, roll-it-yourself sushi is a favourite with the husband and kids (a Korean friend suggested it as an easy last-minute/emergency meal! How right she was!). Admittedly, my husband is the expert at cooking Asian curries and other dishes; I can also claim many successes in this cuisine, though I need to spend more time reading and concentrating on the recipe. Put simply, he's more of a natural.
