Paula Deen's Lemon Salad Dressing

"I just saw this recipe on her show, and had to try it out! It is delicious, refreshing, and brightens up any salad. Simple ingredients that you always have on hand. No need to buy premade bottled dressing when you can make it for cheap at home, and tastes much better!!!"

  1. Very simple ingredients create the best salad dressing!

  2. Excellent salad dressing. It’s has a light delicate flavor similar to a house dressing. I replaced the sugar with raw honey to make it a little healthier.

  3. My fav' dressing and especially love using it in a chick pea salad!

  4. I've been making this for a few years now - mostly on feta/mint-based salads, but it works with anything, including as a marinade - and it is the bomb. I use 1/2 cup olive oil, the zest and juice of a large lemon (about a 1/4 cup), and just enough sugar (or Splenda, if feeling fat) to give it a subtle sweetness. So good.

  5. This was absolutely delicious! The sugar and the Dijon really mellow the lemon. It's a wonderful, light and fresh dressing.
