  • Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer.
  • Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
  • Remove from the heat and let stand until cool.
  • Spoon a small amount of the sauce over barbecued meats and poultry.

  4. This is how barbeque should be made. Of course, I am from NC and this is a great sauce for pork. I poured this sauce over a Boston Butt and placed it in the crockpot for all day. Wonderful!
