  1. Really enjoyed this recipe. I used the grand homestyle buttermilk biscuits and added 2 apples peeled and diced. It is great, will make it again.

  2. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this. Oh my goodness, it is absolutely delicious. I have already signed up to do dessert for my next book club meeting! So fast, so easy, ridiculously good! I'm now trying to figure out how to incorporate apples into it... maybe pre-cooking the apples and then adding small pieces of apple in between the biscuits for cooking.

  3. It is so simple to make this recipe, I know I will be using it often to make those quick treats for breakfast or church socials. Thanks Chick for another great recipe!

  4. So simple, so rich, so gooey and soooo good! It is a lot like monkey bread, but with the cream instead of the butter. Delicious!

  5. You are wonderful for sharing this incredible cake. My family and I ate it all by ourselves in one sitting. (There are only 4 of us!) We will be making this for many years to come.

I am... ~a mother of 2 kids (19 and 22) who are extremely picky eaters. The mere mention of "healthy" sends them running in the opposite direction. They prefer the creamy, cheesy, fried stuff that they weren't brought up on! ~a wife of a wonderful man who fights an expanding waistline and will lovingly eat most anything I set before him. Everything is 5 stars to him. :) He's the easiest customer a cook could ask for! ~a teacher who tends to reach for comfort foods to relieve stress. I am a middle school reading specialist. The miracles I see on a daily basis keeps me going! But it's also stressful, so keep me away from the cookie jar! I really have to fight off the sugary, fat-laden stuff that has no worth beyond the momentary comfort in my mouth. ~and I'm also a daughter who was brought up on home cooked meals back when calories meant nothing and taste was everything! That is an idea built into my system that's hard to shake! My mother raised 8 kids (I'm #7) on her home-cooking and I always teased her that she didn't raise a single skinny kid! I luckily inherited her great love of cooking and baking. (I miss you Mom!) ~finally, I'm "mom" to the best Bichon in the world. He is Quincy, our kid in a dogsuit.
