  1. I made this for New Year's Eve. It was very tasty and not to strong with alcohol. The pink lemonade and club soda made it sweet and bubbly.

  2. I rarely drink alcohol of any kind but decided to try this since we were having company. It went over very well. I normally dislike wine especially but this was a very smooth drink and I really enjoyed it. I will try this one again.

  3. I made a spaghetti sauce that called for just 1/4 cup red wine & I hated to waste the rest of the bottle because we don't like the taste. Lucky me to stumble onto this simple recipe that takes red wine to a whole new level of wonderfulness! No more wasted wine!

  4. I made this with one can of the pink lemonade, one half bottle of Merlot (1 can) and 3 small bottles of Perrier sparkling water (about three cans). Who wouldn't love this simple and refreshing drink on a hot summer day? Thanks !

  5. Made it for PAC Spring 2007 and I loved it. Simple and cool, like the name of the recipe. Its great for an afternoon relaxation. Thanks for a keeper, PickyEater!

I'm a slightly "over-50" guy living with my wife and 2 kids in Columbus Ohio. I have been a picky eater for as long as I can remember. I'm trying to improve my cooking skills more or less in self defense. It's a control thing ... if I make it and I don't like it, I can whine and complain to myself :-)! Since cooking is not my wife's favorite activity, I'm looking for recipes I can enjoy preparing and eating while lightening her load a bit. Hopefully a win-win situation.
