  1. Great recipe! I never like anything I make in a crock pot but all that has changed! These are so flavorful and yummy! My kids loved them too. I will make them again and not change a thing. My husband took them for lunch the next day with a little shredded cheddar on them and he was very happy. Thanks for the wonderful recipe! UPDATE: I made it again and omitted the water. It turned out to be a better consistency without the water.

  2. I make this in a skillet. Worked great. Very tasty!!

  3. Awesome recipe for the summer months when the weather is HOT HOT. A great blend of ingredients that makes a rich tasty BBQ sammie. I did reduce the amount of water to 1/8th cup.

  4. Excellent! I did double the brown sugar (Like them sweeter); loved the chili powder in these. Made for the Crock Pot Event in Cooking Photos.

I am 36 years old and the mother of four wonderful children. Two girls and two boys. ?Being a stay-at-home mom affords me ample time to indulge my passion for cooking and baking! (Thanks again to my wonderful husband!) My oldest daughter loves to help in the kitchen and wants to eat what she cooks, so that's helping broaden her eating horizons! My youngest daughter is still pretty picky, but we're dealing! Thank goodness my husband is gracious enough to eat whatever I cook. (I guess he knows that if he complains, he'll be asked to do the cooking himself!!)
