  1. Very good!! I omitted the black peppercorns (didn't have any) & subbed ground ginger for the fresh, & ground cloves for whole. It was great & I'll definitely be making this again!!

  2. This is great! I added a few cardamon pods and extra peppercorns and cloves plus honey. I have a cold and this has really helped with my breathing. Thanks for a nice tea!! I'll be making this in very large batches!

  3. My kids really love this homemade chai. I slightly crush the peppercorns and cardamon as I add them to the water, and often substitute 2 teaspoons honey for the sugar. It's fine with soy milk, also.

  4. This tea is just delicious, I usually just make mine with cardamom, but this was great!! I especially loved the flavor that the peppercorns gave, even my sister who hates tea loved this!

  5. I make it twice right away! So great is this drink!!! I didn't prefer tea with milk before, but now specially with this recepie I love it!!! But instead of sugar I add honey after I pour drink in a cup.

Tweaks

  1. Fabulous reipe. Followed as is only used 1/2 water 1/2 milk, just for our preferences... and used cardamom pods instead of ground cardamom. We make our tea a bit stronger, but that doesnt alter this recipe at all. Cant believe DH wanted hot tea on a day when it was 100 degrees F.,..haha he thoroughly enjoyed this as did I. Thank you very much! This will be even BETTER during the winter :)
