  1. I made this for breakfast yesterday. It was a big hit, we loved this. Was also good later for a snack. DH added chocolate sauce on top when he had it for a snack said it was wonderful. This is very easy to make and bakes up very well. The only problem I had was when I baked it for 22 min., it still wasn't completely done. Had to bake it for another 15. Other than that it is fantastic.

  2. I have been looking for this recipe for a long time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  3. I love this coffee cake and made it for years from the recipe on the box. However, in the last decade or so, I've kicked it up a bit. I put some fall spices (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg) in the cake, and doubled the crumble and added some chopped pecans. Oh, be still my heart!

  4. This is a WONDERFUL recipe, but I tweak it to fit our tastes. I add 1/4 teaspoon each of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice to the cake. Then, I double the topping mix and add pecan pieces, finely chopped. This is so awesome with coffee at breakfast, or a glass of cold milk after dinner.

  5. Will try it tomorrow. Mom use to make it when I was a kid. Instead of the topping she would sprinkle powdered sugar when it cools.
