  1. Fantastic recipe. We catch our own crab in Puget Sound, I pick the crab and vacuum seal the meat, so I used frozen crab, thawed it in the fridge, then drained it.

  2. first crab of the year for us,, and i was looking all over for a recipe when i came across this one,, it was great,,, i only had dill relish so i used that and i did add some paprika and garlic to taste, it was wonderful... i hope we have a great season up here and i can make this more often... thanks

Tweaks

  1. Substituted minced sweet picked for relish, shrimp for crab, seeded and sliced regular tomatoes for plum tomatoes. Instead of putting hardboiled eggs and olives in dressing, served them sliced on plates. Turned out great.

  2. Used what was on hand. Ran out of pickle relish so minced some sweet pickles. Served black olive slices and hard boiled egg slices on the plates. Seeded and sliced regular tomatoes. Used large shrimp instead of crab. Turned out great! Jayne in Tustin
