"My mum got this recipe off a friend of hers years ago. They are really nice and easy to make. I'm not sure where the recipe came from originally."

  1. Hi Christy, I was just about to make these and I thought I'd look online to see if anyone else makes them. These have always been my favorite biscuits and one of the first recipes that I used to make regularly whilst growing up in New Zealand. They aren't in the Edmond's cookery books (NZ Cookery bible) but I Know that Mum and Nana used to make them. I'm 50 so I'd say it is definitely and old recipe, certainly Mum and Nana were familiar with them. Sometimes they turned out flat, sometimes fat, sometimes chewy, often crunchy, ALWAYS yummy and tasty! well better go and make them , got a craving to satisfy!! cheers Deb.
