  • Wash zucchini and cut it into 1/4 inch pieces.
  • Heat the oil in a Dutch oven over high heat. In very hot oil, stir the zucchini until well coated.
  • Quickly add the water, salt and sugar. Reduce heat to medium-high.
  • Continue to cook for 6-7 minutes, stirring often, until tender-crisp.

  2. Simple, quick and easy. I cooked mine on high for the first few minutes to reduce the water. Personally though, I prefer zucchini with a hint of garlic or Cavenders greek seasoning. Thanks for posting!

  4. This tasted great - which surprised me as I thought it might be a bit too sweet. I did think it was a bit watery and actually had to drain off the water before serving. Overall though a nice way to prepare zucchini. Thanks for sharing with me in the Potluck Tag Game.
