Questions & Replies

  1. Can’t find Orville redenbacher popcorn oil in Canada. Is there another oil I could use as a substitute without spoiling the flavor?

  2. How far ahead can these be made without going stale

Reviews

  1. I make these all the time. My family calls them crack pretzels cause they can't stop eating them. I also add a bag of oyster crackers and I baje in slow 250 degree oven for an hour, stirring ever 15 minutes.

  2. I make these often just as listed! When I bring them into work the whole batch is gone by the end of the day. A few tips-use the stick pretzels so you can break them easy before making so the seasoning soaks in. Also-I make them 24 hours in advance and shake them ever time I walk by so they get a chance to get fully coated. Then I proceed to feed my face!!!

  3. Always a favorite! However I use a packet of Good Seasons Italian dressing instead of the Hidden Valley Ranch. Extra flavor than the ranch.

  4. These are delicious! I tweak a few things though. Break the pretzels really good before adding the other ingredients. It makes a huge difference in the taste, because all the good stuff soaks in. I also use 1T of dill, instead of 2tsps. You can flip the bag, up-down, side-to-side, whenever you think about it. Enjoy!

  5. I make these alot, and you do not need the full 16 oz. of oil!! Use one cup. I also add 1 Tbl of Dill Weed.. Heaven!

Tweaks

  1. I made these with my high school class, and the guys really liked these. We changed it up by adding two packages of dry Italian seasoning to the mix. Then, we put it in the freezer overnight. The consensus was that we should add another package of ranch seasoning as well. We used tiny twists pretzels and broke them up a little. Overall, these were a hit!

  2. Can I use coconut oil

  3. After a day of soaking and flipping I put them in the oven at 350 for 30-45 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes to soak up the oil.
