  1. This was an OMG delicious sauce! The picture was for fun and taken before I had simmered the meatballs in the sauce. I must have used a dozen spoons 'taste testing' and I'm surprised I had enough for the meal :) I want this sauce on everything! Made for CQ4

  2. I made this to serve with your wonderful Swedish Turkey Meatballs. I chopped the veggies in a mini chopper so skipped the straining. It was a family meal so we didn't mind the specks of color. With both soy sauce and bouillon I found the sauce a little salty, but I normally reduce salt whenever possible. T"hank you for sharing the recipe!

  3. I slowly sauteed the veggies then verrryyy slowwwwlllyyy brought the cream to a simmer to extract as much flavor as possible from them. Delicious!! Schluuurrrp! Made to go with recipe#427637 for ZWT9, Mike & the Appliance Killers!

  4. Surprisingly with those kitchen sink ingredients this was really tasty! It was a bit redundant serving a sauce that contains onions over beef patties that contain onions and a garnish of caramelized onions. However, if you like onions then this would be ideal. After finishing our patties we graduated to dunking our bread in the sauce then running our fingers through the sauce on the platter. No one was there to stop us. PS I did not strain the carrots or the shallots-too precious to discard. Made for ZWT 9.
