  1. Made this last night and couldn't be better pleased. I used a good quality margarine instead of butter and only half the amount (tried to make it from memory) still turned out great. My husband said it was better than the store bought and I agree. Thank you so much!

  2. Good stuff, added a dollop of Peanut butter & used Nestle milk chocolate morsels. I omitted the nuts.

  3. Loved it…A more natural taste when comparing it to store bought Magic Shell. I made ½ the recipe which is: ½ cup of butter (1 stick), 1 cup milk chocolate chips, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract. I used and old Magic Shell squeeze bottle to store it in the fridge.

  4. We tried this last night. It was FANTASTIC! I loved it because it didin't have the funny texture of the store bought stuff and I really thought it tasted better too. My husband loved it because we didn't have to pay $4.00 for a tiny little bottle of it. Thanks for posting an AWESOME recipe!

  5. This stuff is great. Since I started making it my family won't touch any other sauce and it's so quick and easy. I just put the ingredients together in a pint jar and nuke it until everything melts then stir it together. Can't get any easier than that. Dave

I've written a Cookbook called THE REALLY GOOD FOOD COOK BOOK available at Barnes & Noble.com, Amazon.com and on all other Internet book sites for $14.59. I love cookbooks, like mine, which have lots of information about food and life. Thus M.F.K. Fisher is one of my favorite cook book authors. But my abiding passion is GOOD FOOD, REALLY GOOD FOOD.
