  1. Used this for Crock Pot Italian Beef or Venison 79976 as a substitute for Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix. I am not sure it would taste close to that as dressing, but it was really good! A great blend that I will use often, as I have a sodium restricted family member. This is full of flavor, a bit different and really good. Thanks.

  2. I have used this with recipe #8374 and as salad dressing, it was a homerun with both! I like that it is a little herby in appearance and I think it tastes better than the store bought dry Italian Dressing mix. I made up a batch as salad dressing and used on a sub, it was great! Thanks for the recipe!

  3. I made this to try to substitute for the packaged mix, because I hate all those chemicals. This seems authentic to the flavor I wanted to duplicate. Next time I will cut back or eliminate the salt, because it is a bit salty (which does make it authentic, but is just too much for my current tastes). I haven't actually used it to make salad dressing with.

  4. I made this for my son (he loved the powdered mix sent to us from US). It's tasty, but very herby looking. I wonder if I should have used oregano powder and crushed the rosemary. Tastes good though.

  5. I used 1.5 Tbs of this mix for a gluten-free version of a meal that I take to a family/friends in time of need. My go-to meal has been a pkg of Italian salad dressing mix + 1 stick butter (melted), poured over fresh green beans, baby red potatoes & chicken breasts that are arranged in a disposable 13x9 pan. The family can then bake at 375 for about 45 min & enjoy a delicious savory dinner. I wasn't sure if the pkg salad mix is gluten free, so I used this recipe instead & got rave reviews.
