ingredients
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can green beans, french cut
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, sliced, drained
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
directions
- saute shallot in oils
- add green beans with juice add water chestnuts add cube and soy sauce
- cook down until no juice sprinkle on sesame seeds.

I used frozen french cut green beans, so I added some liquid. This took much longer than 15 minutes to cook the juices down, but maybe I overestimated the amount of liquid in a can. On the upside, the longer cooking time gave the water chestnuts time to absorb the flavor of the sesame oil and soy sauce! This is an easy side dish, one that you can time out to accommodate what you plan to serve this with! Pretty tasty as well! Thanks for sharing. Made for PRMR tag game.
