  • sift flour and salt into a basin ,rub in butter and add sugar .add combined milk and vanilla and mix well.
  • caramel sauce: combine in a large sauce pan : 30g butter pinch of salt 1 1/2 cups of water. stir and bring to the boil.
  • drop table spoon of dumpling mix into simmering sauce.cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
