This is a really good sandwich. I forgot to take my english muffins out of the freezer in time to make this so I used bread. I fried the ham for a couple of minutes before putting it on the toast which made it taste even better. The sauce is really good and very easy to make. I will be making this again. Thanks keen for a great recipe

Made for FF&F "What's on the Menu?" tag game - Breakfast sammies are like a "major food group" around our house & this one is very good. English muffins are not an option here in Iceland, so I used bagels. Like other reviewers, I pan-grilled the ham in a small amount of butter to add the lovely caramelized flavor. Like 1 reviewer in particular, we also missed the slightly runny yolk typical of Eggs Benedict. The use of hard-boiled eggs makes this a happy option for weekdays, but we will probably continue to rely on "the slightly runny yolk" choice for weekends when time is not as much of an issue. Thx for sharing your recipe w/us.

I loved this recipe, it was so quick and easy to make with excellent results. The egg was complimented wonderfully by the spicy and savory cheese sauce. I also loved how quick and easy this was to make. I enjoyed it for lunch today with some strawberries. Thank you for sharing a recipe I will make again. Made for What's on the Menu? Tag Game.

I love to cook, but don't have a lot of time to do it, since I work full time. I like to try a new recipe every Saturday, if time allows.
