Chocolate Banana Tofu Mousse/Dessert

"I was requested to make this for a gathering and was a bit skeptical about it. However, it is so easy to make and it tastes great. Nobody knows that it is made with tofu until they are told. Found this recipe in the "Can't Believe It's Kosher" cookbook. Cook time does not include chill time."

  1. Delcious. very banany with a bit of chocolate pudding which we enjoyed that it was a snap to make and no one asked if it was made from tofu instead of dairy products. This is a winner and we will be having it often. Thanks Ducky for sharing!

  2. Absolutely fantastic! So quick and easy to make. I didn't have the raspberry vinegar so just substituted lemon juice instead. Delicious recipe...thank you :)

  3. Very delicious and easy to make. I put it into a graham cracker pie crust, and it was a huge hit. Thank you for posting. I actually used the tofu I had on hand which was firm, and put it into my Vitamix, and it came out silky smooth.

  4. Delicious recipe! A fantastic rich and creamy chocolate mousse. I used extra smooth tofu and raspberry balsamic vinegar (1/2 amount listed). The bananas I had were extremely ripe, and I think that actually enchanced the recipe, and added a slight "liqueury" flavor. The banana taste is very subtle.

  5. Loved it!!! I love bananas, tofu and chocolate what could be better? After the last round in the microwave the chocolate chips burnt so I had to get rid of that! I had just about half of the semi-sweet chips left. I used the remaining chips and I added a calorie-sugar-carb and fat free chocolate syrup made by Walden Farms it is fantastic so that helped me remedy the chocolate fiasco in the microwave. I decorated with raspberries. It looked and tasted great! Thank you very much for this easy, savory guilt free dessert. I took some pictures I will be back to post them soon
