  1. My son works in an office full of women. Every two weeks I send him with homemade cookies. Tried this last week, they were a fabulous hit. I added the semi-sweet choc. chips and a coarsely chopped Hershey's milk choc. bar. On the top I also put chopped Snicker's bar, milk choc bar and pecans. I doubled the recipe and it made 24 large cookies. After years of baking on the best recipes, I will be making these for a long time. Taking them to my co-workers next.

  2. Wish I could give this one more than 5 stars! These are so delicious. And easy too. They taste just like they came from a bakery or coffehouse. Definitely in my pile for Christmas cookies!

  3. These are awesome cookies! I have tripled the batch, using different kinds of candy bars on each dozen. For those who crave a peanut butter taste to their cookies, Reese's work awesome with this recipe!

  4. not my favorite cookies since it wasn't chewy enough or just didn't have the flavor i was looking for...BUT my husband loved it. said it beats out my other cookies i've baked. and he wants to rate this a 5 so i'll give it a 5. or i would've given it a 4 if it were up to me. good recipe over all. next time i'll lessen on the nuts and put more snickers since that was the best part.

  5. These were a huge success in our household. Both my daughters are still quite young so I used extra coloured chocolate sprinkles instead of the walnuts and topped with a cut up Mars bar. The Mars bar was fun to watch, it puffs right up! I made my cookies quite small for small hands and got about triple (if not more) the amount. Thanks for posting, yum!

You can follow my food journey at <a href=http://onecookbookatathyme.wordpress.com/>http://onecookbookatathyme.wordpress.com/</a></p> <p>Cooking for family and friends is one of my favorite things to do. I spend most of my free time in the kitchen, either checking out Recipezaar or experimenting with a newly found recipe. <br /><br />My DH and I are both from Texas and we both come from Italian families. Anyone who stops by my house should be prepared to eat!!! I'm always forcing friends and family to try whatever it is that just came out of the oven. I know that is a horrible habit but I can't break it... I think it must be the Italian in me! LOL :) <br /><br />My sister (<a href=http://www.recipezaar.com/browse/getchef.zsp?id=85654>Cookin_Kit</a>) and I used to help my Mom (<a href=http://www.recipezaar.com/browse/getchef.zsp?id=124343>JudaThann</a>) in the kitchen a lot growing up. I guess that is where my love for cooking began. I also enjoy sharing the kitchen with my DH (<a href=http://www.recipezaar.com/browse/getchef.zsp?id=202688>Sgt. Pepper</a>). He doesn't cook as often as he did when we first got married, but he makes an awesome pizza and still makes them at least twice a month. He keeps his recipes for the dough and the sauce top secret, even from me. LOL <br /><br />I have two step-children. The oldest graduated from college and the youngest is a sophomore at Texas Tech. I also have two cats and a dog. When I?m not cooking or hanging out here at Zaar, I like to knit, garden, read, watch old movies, travel, take photos, scrapbook, volunteer at a non-kill animal shelter, and spend time with my family and friends. <br /><br /><img src=http://images.snapfish.com/34359%3C8323232%7Ffp47%3Dot%3E232%3A%3D8%3A3%3D429%3DXROQDF%3E23237%3C2733%3B9%3Bot1lsi alt= /> <br /><br />I'm a co-host with <a href=http://www.recipezaar.com/browse/getchef.zsp?id=21399>Karen From Colorado</a> in the <a href=http://www.recipezaar.com/bb/viewforum?f=37>Mexican/Tex-Mex/Southern United States Cooking Forum</a>.
