7-Eleven Adds Stuffed Waffles to Hot Food Roster

You’ve got your Fanta Blue Raspberry Slurpee (0% juice) and a couple of scratch-off tickets. Why don’t you go ahead and balance that breakfast with 7-Eleven’s newest, tastiest treat: the Pillsbury Stuffed Waffle?

That’s right, Pillsbury and 7-Eleven have teamed up to create the most crave-able 7-Eleven breakfast frankenfood that the world has ever seen (we’re actually not sure that they’ve created other 7-Eleven breakfast frankenfoods, so peanut butter and jelly doughnut, we’re looking at you). The Pillsbury Stuffed Waffle is basically a maple-flavored Pillsbury toaster waffle that has been sliced open and stuffed with a sausage patty, scrambled egg and some cheese. Available in single-serving packages that can be reheated at home or in participating stores, the 4.5-ounce breakfast waffles will retail for $2.49 a pop, making them an affordable way to just settle for breakfast.

And, of course, this new breakfast option will be available around the clock. Says 7-Eleven VP of Fresh Food Innovation Kelly Buckley, “You can get a stuffed waffle at 6 a.m. and at 6 p.m. Whether a customer wants a slice of hot pizza and Iced Coffee for breakfast, or coffee and a stuffed waffle with fruit for dinner, 7-Eleven is ready to serve them whatever they choose.”

While we wait patiently for 7-Eleven’s next breakfast item of pizza with coffee-flavored sauce, we’ll be cooking our own sausage-stuffed waffles from Genius Kitchen.
