Stop the presses, because rapper Kanye West will be opening his very own restaurant in celebrity-friendly Calabasas, California, where he intends to sell comfort food that is, for lack of a better term, expensive.

Uh-huh, honey.

At least that’s what gossip rag Radar reported this week, with help from an anonymous source.

“Kanye’s shopping for the ideal premises to create a flagship restaurant in Calabasas,” said the faceless, nameless individual. “He has this vision of creating high-end comfort food just like his mom used to make—but with a price tag that’s as eye-watering as it is mouth-watering, of course.”

Kanye, of course, has the right to jack up the prices on his mother’s creations. After all, his mama fixed him up something good for his soul: famous homemade chicken noodle soup, can he have another bowl?

It has not yet been confirmed whether you will be able to order the hors d’oeuvres and look at views of the water, straight from a page of your favorite author. Probably not, though, because Calabasas is not on the ocean.
