Come to the Dark Side (Bar), Popping Up in a Galaxy Near You
If you only knew the power of the Darkside’s cocktails...

It’s no Mos Eisley Cantina, nor is it a tavern on Takodana. No, these watering holes are much darker indeed, and they’re located in a galaxy close, close by (hint: it’s called the Milky Way).
On planet Earth, in three cities across the United States, a bar is popping up to honor the coming of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It’s the Darkside Bar, and it’s open for a limited time (between November 15th and January 14th) in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
At the Darkside Bar, visitors can meet their fathers for a drink, or just drop by Solo. There are cocktails that smoke and light up with LED ice cubes. The decor is dark (duh), and looks a bit like the inside of the Death Star’s hallways. Visitors are encouraged to dress up; those who don’t will be “frown[ed] at the whole time.” There will be alien burlesque performances as well as alien speed dating activities.
Book online through the bar’s reservation page, or try for a walk-in—if you dare. Online reservations cost $33 a person, where in-person ticket purchases cost $40. Each ticket is good for two drinks, with “galaxy-inspired” menu items, like soy-BBQ-glazed octopus on a stick, available a la carte.
Get there while you can, before the Death Star focuses its kyber crystal-powered superlaser on Earth and the pop-up is destroyed.
