Food safety 101 tells us that wearing clothes is a pretty good idea when you’re cooking. Oil splatters, boiling water… hazards abound that can burn and cause other ouchies. But what about when you’re making a salad?

As far as we can tell, nothing too bad—at least when you’re Chrissy Teigen.

On Sunday, the model, cookbook author and social media persona extraordinaire took to the Instagram to share her salad making skills. Only, she left a few garments behind. With an ever-so-mischievous look of pure joy on her face, Teigen is shown preparing a salad in her birthday suit.

Teigen—who is about five-and-a-half months pregnant with her second child—managed to skirt the image sharing service’s community guidelines with two conveniently-placed salad emojis, bringing the #freethenipple movement one step closer to equality.

Always one to do whatever the heck she wants, Teigen is also very aware of the haters, captioning the image on Instagram and Twitter, “plz don’t shame me I am a strong proud salad making woman just being natural and trying to live my life.”

The response from fans was overwhelmingly positive (“Live your best life babe”), and even one fellow verified Twitter user chimed in.

“This is tremendous,” replied actress and comedian Jane Lynch.

“Thank you, Jane!” Teigen immediately fired back. “Thank you for letting me be strong!”

If that’s not empowerment, we don’t know what is. Now hold on while we go and plan our naked salad night.
