My boyfriend said this meatloaf is better than his mom's! He's an old farm boy so I took that as a true compliment. I doubled the recipe and used a Tbs of wortestshire sauce. Instead of garlic powder, I used minced garlic- about a teaspoon. The chili sauce made it a bit sweet with some nice heat. It definitely is not your momma's meatloaf. Wonderful!

Yum! Great meatloaf and really pretty easy to make. I know you said the chili sauce makes it, but unfortunately we had some winter weather with no electricity for 4 days, so lost most the contents of my refrigerator including the chili sauce we had, so had to sub ketchup. I did throw in a little brown sugar and vinegar to try to make it more like chili sauce. It was still really delicious. Nice juicy, tender loaf. Will be made again! Made (really late) for Zaar cookbook tag game.

Thanks so much, GranJan! My hubby's fav is meatloaf, but I was so sick of the standard Lipton Onion Soup mix style. I tried this one night, and now it's pretty much a weekly dinner. It's the only meatloaf recipe I will actually eat! Whatever leftovers I have are used as mini meatballs in sauce for spaghetti nite. Thanks again!
