  1. I found these a bit spongy. I'm not sure if maybe they over-rose or if it's just a result of 2 packages of yeast. My husband thought they were tasty.

  2. WARNING: THIS DOUGH IS VERY VERY STICKY!!! I have patience though, and it was so worth it. I know very well that the best breads and vanilla-based cookies contain milk as one of the ingredients. I specifically searched up milk just to find a recipe like this. It only has 2 tbs of shortening which I liked (fewer calories). I only used one package of yeast, because I was willing to spend more time. Yum

  3. Great Rolls! I added about 1/4 extra flour because they were so sticky, and it took longer than55 mins but still really good!

  4. These were so good! I was just looking for a dinner roll that would be quick to make and these turned out so much better than any other roll recipe I've tried! Thanks so much for the great recipe, will make these often!

  5. Absolutely phenomenal! These rose up so nicely. I let mine rise for about 35 minutes for the final raise (step 6 doesn't specify a time). I will make these again and again. The texture of the dough is so wonderful. Thanks for posting this gem!
