  1. So easy and delicious! I made this in the crock pot after cutting the chicken in thin pieces. I cooked it for 3 hours and served it with egg noodles. I didn't find it too sweet like other reviewers.

  2. I made this exactly as written but my family thought it was just OK. The chicken was too sweet for us. My chicken was very moist but I only cooked mine for three hours on low. This was very easy to put together and is made with ingredients I normally have on hand.

  3. This was awesome. It turned out really sweet and moist and the kids loved it.

  4. We really loved the flavor of this dish. I used 2# chicken tenders and Sierra Mist instead of 7-Up. They almost have the same taste. Cooked a tad too long because of kitchen disaster, but the flavor was still lovely. In fact, my sister thought it had the taste of veal! We liked this very much and will have it again. Adopted for Spring 2008 PAC.

  5. I loved the concept and the ease of cooking. I started with a frozen chicken breast and used diet Ginger Ale hoping to get the ginger flavor. The ginger ale added no discernible flavor and I added a bit of chicken base to the cooking liquid to give it a flavor boost. Also I need to mention that since I started with the frozen breast I gave it the full 8 hours on low. The meat was extremely dry and over cooked. Check the chicken at 4 hours and decide how much longer you want to give it. Made of PAC, Spring '08
