  • Bring broth and water to a boil.
  • Add potato slices and onions and reduce heat to min-med (I have to use min. as my stovetop gets very hot).
  • Add corn and stir.
  • Cook for 1 hour or until potatoes start to break down.
  • Add remaining ingredients and cook at least 30 minutes.
  • Spoon out into bowl and garnish with green onion and sour cream.

  2. This was great!! I did make a couple modifications I used a whole onion and icreaseed the cheese and bacon to one cup and two cups of the cream. Thankyou so much!
     
  3. A little too watery for us. I added a can of creamed corn to change that. We like our chowder to be creamy. The flavor is excellent but we're undecided as to whether we'll keep our favorite ecipe.
     
  4. We too enjoyed this soup. The only reason I take one * away is the amount of salt in it. Having said that, the taste was wonderful!
