Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 head cabbage, shredded
  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and quartered (about 8 medium)
  • 12 lb pork steak, cut into pieces
  • 12 cup barley
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Combine meat with vegetables and barley, place in pan and cover with water.
  2. Cook slowly for two hours.
  3. When tender, mash and mix thoroughly.
  4. Season to taste.
