Very simple, very easy! Sometimes I'd make it with crushed garlic clove if I feel like it, but the powdered garlic works perfectly well. Cremini or white or baby bella mushrooms.. all work. I do add a dash of cracked black pepper. I find this a great meal for a weekend lunch, accompanied by a salad. (Or a side for a dinner.)

This dish was delish! I used button, cremini, and portobello mushrooms (more button than the other two), and did use the vidalia as called for, which is my favourite onion by far! I did use the garlic powder, but when making this in future (which I definately will), I'll use fresh garlic, as some other reviewers suggested - and a grind or two of fresh pepper. I can't wait to try this on a veggie burger! Thanks, Acadia - this is suh a winner!! Made for Veggie Swap 25 - sorry for being so late!!
