  1. Very simple, very easy! Sometimes I'd make it with crushed garlic clove if I feel like it, but the powdered garlic works perfectly well. Cremini or white or baby bella mushrooms.. all work. I do add a dash of cracked black pepper. I find this a great meal for a weekend lunch, accompanied by a salad. (Or a side for a dinner.)

  2. Cremini, onion and a touch of garlic. Whats not to love? especially when served with a t-bone! Don't think about it, just make it. You won't be sorry.

  3. Delicious, simple, and I think garlic powder really works here (and there is organic garlic powder--one ingredient in the jar)--you can really let the onions and mushrooms saute without getting any burned bits of garlic.

  4. So simple, and so good! It's wonderful with meat, but it would also be good just on its own. I don't think it needs fresh garlic; it's great the way it is. Definitely a keeper. Thanks for posting!

  5. This dish was delish! I used button, cremini, and portobello mushrooms (more button than the other two), and did use the vidalia as called for, which is my favourite onion by far! I did use the garlic powder, but when making this in future (which I definately will), I'll use fresh garlic, as some other reviewers suggested - and a grind or two of fresh pepper. I can't wait to try this on a veggie burger! Thanks, Acadia - this is suh a winner!! Made for Veggie Swap 25 - sorry for being so late!!
