• 1. First, preheat the oven to 350°F.

 • 3. Melt the butter in a shallow bowl or pan.
 • 4. Dip each piece of chicken into the butter, and then into the seasoned cheese, coating well.
 • 5. Arrange in the foil lined pan. Bake for 30-45 minutes at 350°F.
 • 6. Then -- kick yourself that you didn't make a double recipe!

 1. This was delicious, but after reading other reviews, I totally omitted the salt. Parmesan cheese is very high in salt, so with that, it was plenty enough. Thanks for sharing! Will definitely make again! :)

 2. The most awesome chicken I have had in a while. Will make again and again. Like another person mentioned, I will use less or no salt next time. Thanks for the recipe.

 3. This was good. Way too salty for me and my family. I think next time we'll just leave the salt out completely and maybe add a little to taste at the end. We made some awesome salads with this though.

 4. Every once in a while I visit a restaurant where the chef is a heavy smoker. The food is typically badly spiced (and over spiced) because the chef can't taste it.

This chicken was so over spiced it was almost inedible and the spice combination we very poor.

 5. This was okay. I made it exactly as stated, except I omitted the salt. I didn't care for the oregano flavor. There are much better chicken recipes. I won't be making his again. It is definitely not addicting.

Tweaks

 1. Ok I have loved this recipe since the day I found it. We have it quite often. But I have made some pretty major improvements on it. First off I don't use measurements I just go by what looks right at the time. So keeping the original recipe, add in some dried cilantro, a little rubbed sage, a little tarragon, and some ground mustard. To sub out the salt I use a little Mediterranean spiced sea salt. Major flavor explosion!! Tried it for the first time tonight with flounder.

 2. Delicious! I fixed this for my family tonight (February 19, 2013) and they loved it. I followed her directions except that I didn't have any oregano and used Italian seasoning instead. It was still delicious!

 3. Very tasty. It's highly flavorful, and it's a good thing because I have a cold and would not have been able to taste it otherwise! We did find it to be too salty and will cut the salt back to 1 teaspoon next time we make it. We also made some changes that we really liked: Added 1/8 t. cayenne pepper to the mixture; used 1 cup of 2% cheddar and 1 cup parmesan instead of using just parmesan; sliced 2 jalapeno peppers and put them on top of the chicken before baking. Thanks for posting. Made for PAC Fall 2012.

RECIPE SUBMITTED BY

I have been cooking since I was a kid. I love to experiment with all kinds of recipes, and then make them my own. Sometimes I will take two or three recipes and combine them together to make a unique creation that everyone love. If the kids wont eat it, it's not good enough, and the kids are NOT picky eaters!
