  • In a small skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 turn of the pan, over medium heat. Add the carrot, celery, onion and garlic and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Reserve the skillet. Mix the turkey, dill and poultry seasoning into the vegetable mixture; season with salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  • In the reserved skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add the patties and cook, turning once, until firm, about 12 minutes; transfer to a plate. Add the butter to the skillet to melt, then stir in the hot sauce. Add the patties to the sauce, turning to coat. Top each with some of the blue cheese and a cheddar slice. Tent with foil, turn off the heat and let stand until the cheese is melted.
  • Top each muffin bottom with some lettuce, a patty, some relish and a muffin top.

  1. I saw Rachel cook these on her show and KNEW I had to make them for hubby...he LOVES Buffalo Wings. They are very good. For me it's the first time I've ever eaten a turkey burger and liked it. You can't even tell that it's not a beef burger. I've made them twice now. If you really like hot sauce (we use Frank's) then you have got to try them. Next time we make them, hubby's burger is going in the hot sauce mixture but for me I think I'll keep mine out. Also, the first time I made them I made them into sliders. So I made the patties smaller and served them on potato dinner rolls. I think I liked them best as a slider than a full-sized burger which makes good finger foods for your next party. Also, we didn't use the sandwich-size English muffins because we don't have them here.

  2. I’ve made these many times. Spot on! I love Rachael Ray recipes. They are even great grilled (in my other 2 pics). Yum!

  3. SOOOOO GOOD! The burger was juicy and full of flavor. I did not have celery or chedder cheese but it was delish. I also used toasted sandwich flats instead of the english muffins. Thanks for posting this!
