Adult Chocolate Milk With Spiced Rum

"I was craving Irish Cream but too drunk to drive to the store and get whiskey to make it... but I had some spiced rum left over. It's sweet, it's spicy, it's a down-n-dirty chocolate milk."

directions

  • Add all ingredients except cola to a water bottle, drink mixer, or some other container with a lid.
  • Shake the hell out of it.
  • Pour into a glass and top off with cola. I use Diet Coke, and probably 1/2 cup of it, but for a sweeter drink, use more cola.
  • Drink.
  • Repeat several times.

  1. Personally I cannot think of a worse combination than milk and a carbonated bevy, but chocolate milk and rum is tasty. That's what I've done, used chocolate milk (and seems easier than needing the two ingredients of syrup and milk).

  2. I used 1/3 cup almond milk and about 2/3 cup storebought chocolate milk. Skipped the cola. Used regular rum, so I added a dash cayenne and a pinch of cinnamon. Yum!

  3. YUM! My kind of chocolate milk. I used diet coke. Never thought milk and spiced rum would go together but this was tasty. Thanks:)

  4. This is pretty good. I did skip adding the cola and just added more milk, as I have no soda in the house. I'm thinking this might be good with Dr Pepper on top. As is, make sure you add the extra milk if you are skipping the cola, or this is pretty potent! I just poured this all into a Nalgene bottle and shook it up.

  5. This was very easy to make and tasted pretty good. It was a bit sweet, but I did use regular coke. I think it would be great even without the soda, and adding more milk. Made and Reviewed for PAC Fall 2008. Thanks :)

I try to avoid the kitchen as much as possible, but when I go there, I do everything as healthily as I can. Is healthily a word??? It is now. :)
