  1. This is a very refreshing drink. Would be excellent for hot summer months. I made half a recipe which produced more than the servings specified. For the sugar, I used Splenda and reduced that by 1/2 cup. This did freeze very firm and required that I mix it in my Vita-Mix with some of the 7-Up. An enjoyable drink for hot weather.

  2. I made this exactly as written and it was a super hit with the family! We loved the combination of fruits and thought it had just the right amount of sweetness. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  3. I made this last nite so I’d be able to freeze it overnite & indulge myself w/a pick-me-up today. I added fresh strawberries to the fruit mix & used my trusty hand-held blender so the prep was a snap. I eliminated the sugar, ck’d the mix for sweetness & added some Zoetstof (European equivalent of Splenda) to taste. I so enjoyed this today when I combined it w/Diet Fresca. Such a versatile recipe & can be made to please everyone’s personal preferences. The low-cal version I created was so good! Thx for posting!

  4. Love the combination of fruits in this, and the texture. It does have too much sugar for me though. I served with Sprite; maybe ginger ale would be better? I may even make it with no sugar, since the bananas and pineapple have natural sweeteners. My kids really liked this; it would be a good party punch. Thanks for sharing!
