Alaina's Raspberry French Toast

"I came up with this recipe one morning when I was pregnant, and craving fruity french toast, you have to eat this with fresh raspberries and pure maple syrup, or it just doesn't taste the same."

  • Mix together egg, cinnamon, vanilla, sugar, half and half and salt in a shallow bowl.
  • Dip bread slices in and coat both sides.
  • Spray nonstick skillet with cooking spray over medium heat, add bread slices and cook both sides until golden brown.
  • Place 1 slice on plate, top with half of raspberries and maple syrup, and repeat with other slice.
  • Serve warm.
