  1. Since it is an adult version of a Shirley Temple, wouldn't it be appropriate to call it a "Shirley Temple Black"?

  2. This was my first attempt ever at making a coctail and it turned out pretty great. I used raspberry vodka (because that's what was around) and would have used more of it if I had more:) I think I'll keep this recipe around for a while:)

  3. ok so this is my version of this drink and it will kick it up a few notches. first what u do is put the grenadine in then put a little bit of whiskey sour mix in. then use ginger ale and 7 up and top it off with as much vodka or tequila as u want...

  4. Imo, 1 ounce of grenadine was a little much, too sweet. For my second drink 1 added 1 ounce of cardonated mineral water to cut on the sugar.

  5. This is a yummy drink, like others said- not very strong. Thanks for posting!

Tweaks

  1. Soooo good! I didn't follow it exactly though. When I went to gather the ingredients, I realized how close to a tequila sunrise this was, so instead of vodka, I used tequila. SO GOOD!! The addition of the ginger ale is simply amazing. Next time I'll probably try it with the vodka, but I think I'm just a tequila girl. But I never thought of using ginger ale so this was perfect! Thank you!
