- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 3 cups milk
- 6 ounces parmesan cheese
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
directions
- Melt butter in large pot on stove top.
- Crush garlic and add to butter.
- Gradually whisk in cream cheese and allow to melt while stirring constantly.
- Add milk a few tablespoons at a time to mixture, mix well.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese into mixture, while stirring constantly.
- Add black pepper and bring to boil at medium-low heat.
- Sauce is ready to serve.
