Alireba's Famous Spinach Dip

"This evolved from a basic spinach dip recipe, but I changed it up a bit. Whenever my family gets together, the first thing everyoneyone asks is: "Where's the spinach dip?" I usually quadruple it for such occasions, and it's very rare to have any left over! Even people who don't like any ingredient that I put in, love this dip! Best with Ritz crackers or the like, but if I'm out I'll eat it on bread, tortillas....anything really. It's that good!"

directions

  • Mix sour cream, mayo, and soup mix in a large bowl(If you haven't chopped your celery and onions yet, it's a good idea to cover the bowl and put in the fridge, as it allows the dehydrated veggies in the soup mix soften up and gives the flavors a chance to blend).
  • Add the chopped celery and onions. Mix thouroughly.
  • Add the spinach, little by little, stirring to make sure there aren't any spinach clumps and the consistancy of the dip is even.
  • Chill and enjoy!

I'm definately a newbie to cooking! Sadly, I used to count on my little sister (who is far more gifted in the culinary department) to cook, but recently I started a diet and used that as a jump point to develop some cooking skills.... so far, so good!
