Almond Bark Popcorn

  • 16 cups popped popcorn (microwave works fine)
  • 3 cups rice, krispies
  • 2 cups dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 12 lbs almond bark
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter, the cheap does not work as well (chunky ir smooth)

directions

  • Melt the peanut butter and almond bark together in the microwave or on low on the stove.
  • Dump the popped popcorn, peanuts, rice krispies and peanuts together in a large bowl.
  • Pour the almond bark/peanut butter mixture over and mix well.
  • Lay out on a grease cookie sheet.
  • Let harden.
  • Put in zip lock bags.
  • I'm guessing on servings; I'd say 16-20.

  1. Turned out great. Don't leave out the cereal. Made with white bark and peanuts. Also made a batch with milk chocolate bark and pecans, and Nutella instead of peanut butter. It was a big hit at a party for teens. Adults and kids couldn't stop eating it.

  1. just to see if i could stretch this out a bit, i used only 1 pkg. of bark,and 18 cups of popcorn-rest was the same. turned out fine!!! *I ended up w/9.5 sandwich bags full** just so everyone knows

<p>I live in WI and am mom to 5 kids (19, 20, 21, 23, and 25). We have 5 cats. I love football and the Green Bay Packers! I work in child nutrition at a day care center. My family is into scuba diving. While I don't dive I usually tag along to help out. This year they dove in Lake Superior (39degrees) and the warm tropical waters of Grand Cayman. I love anyplace tropical-my favorite so far is Grand Cayman.</p>
