  1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add egg.
  3. Add almond extract.
  4. Add almonds; add raisins.
  5. Sift flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder together; add alternately with the milk.
  6. Pour into a greased 9x9 pan.
  7. Bake in 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 40 minutes.
  8. Cut into 1 inch x 3 inch strips.
