Simple Almond Bread

"I got this recipe from a friend that loves to give this out as Christmas gifts. It reminds me of pound cake, moist, and dense. Sometimes I make it in mini loaf pans, and share with more friends."

  5. This has a wonderful taste and texture, a cross between pound cake and a tea loaf, very moist. I halfed the recipe and I got one 8x4 loaf. I added more almond extract as I love almond flavoring. It couldn't be simpler than this recipe.
