  1. Season chicken, then place in melted butter until coated. Bake skin side down for 20 minutes at 400*. Turn chicken. Combine onion, garlic, and 1/2 cup wine. Pour mixture over over chicken. Bake 40 minutes longer at 325*. Cook mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes. Add drippings from chicken, sour cream, and remaining wine. Heat. Add half of the almonds. Place chicken on platter and pour sauce over it. Top with remaining almonds.
