  • In a large bowl, combine chicken, grapes, celery, onions and eggs.
  • In another bowl, combine the next nine ingredients; stir until smooth.
  • Pour over the chicken mixture and toss gently.
  • Stir in almonds and serve immediately, or refrigerate and add the almonds just before serving.
  • Garnish with kiwi if desired.
  • **Cooking time does not include cooking the chicken or boiling the eggs.

  2. This is really an outstanding chicken salad! I made exactly as directed and I wouldn't change a thing! We enjoyed this as a salad, but would also be good served on crackers as an appetizer or on bread with lettuce for a sandwich. Juenessa, you really have some excellent recipes! Thank you so much for sharing : )
     
  3. I did not eat this but I made this for my mother for lunch today. She said this is one of her favortie chicken salad recipes that I have made for her yet. I used low fat sour cream and no fat mayo and she said that did not effect the flavor. I also added some sliced sweet onions because I had some in the fridge. I toasted the almounds on the stove top, and that was the longest part of the recipe! Thanks for posting!
