  1. 1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. 2. In Large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add oil, eggs & almond extract; mix well.
  3. 3. In separate bowl, combine flour(s), baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Sift twice before adding gradually to creamed mixture till well combined. Stir in almonds and toffee bits.
  4. 4, Shape into 1 in balls, roll in sugar and place on UNGREASED or parchment lined baking sheet pans, flatten w/fork. Bake @ 350 degrees for 12 - 14 minute or until lightly browned.
